Breast augmentation using the patient’s own fat

Premier Clinic Operating Theatre

We perform breast augmentation using the patient’s own fat by extracting the required volume of fat from problem areas using a Swiss liposuction unit. The fat is then carefully injected into the breasts. You can find out more about the procedure below. If you have any further questions, please take advantage of our free consultation at our clinic.

Unique and safe anaesthesia

At Premier Clinic, we use only premium equipment. We are the only clinic in the Czech Republic to use unique German anaesthesia units, which enable fully digital administration of anaesthesia. All our anaesthesia procedures are carried out using so-called ‘low-flow’ anaesthesia with premium anaesthetic gas. This makes it easier for the patient to wake up and virtually eliminates the unpleasant side effects of anaesthesia.

About the procedure

About the procedure

Breast augmentation using the patient’s own fat now rivals methods used in aesthetic and plastic surgery and often replaces more demanding and complex breast operations. In a simple and gentle procedure, a sufficient amount of adipose tissue is removed from a specific area of the body and, after processing, is injected into the breasts as a filler.

How does using your own fat help to improve your physique?

Breast augmentation using the patient’s own fat utilises the body’s own natural fat tissue, which is used to reshape, contour and augment the breasts, and to correct breast asymmetry or other aesthetic irregularities, without the use of foreign bodies, risks or allergic reactions. As a fundamental component in the regeneration of the body’s soft tissues, adipose tissue is responsible for skin elasticity and the amount of subcutaneous fat, and serves as a high-quality filler material in areas where it is lacking.

Who is a suitable candidate for breast augmentation using their own fat?

It is not possible to expect to achieve the breast size of your dreams or to attain the proportions of a celebrity with an enormous bust. Breast augmentation using your own fat simply reshapes the breasts and increases their volume by one size. The procedure is therefore more suitable for those who do not expect a significant increase in breast size, but wish to enhance their cleavage or improve their contours, or who are wary of silicone implants and prefer a more natural form of treatment.

Another factor in achieving effective results with autologous fat breast augmentation is having a sufficient amount of adipose tissue (at least 600 ml), which may not always be the case for slender women. Even an acceptable amount of adipose tissue does not guarantee success; the tissue must have a sufficient blood supply to prevent rapid reabsorption. If this does not occur, the procedure must be repeated.

Benefits of the procedure

  • A dual remodelling effect – removal of excess fat, improvement in the appearance of the breasts
  • A simple procedure with minimal impact on the body
  • A procedure with no scarring, risks or allergic reactions
  • A safe and natural method of aesthetic medicine
  • Fat can be removed from anywhere on the body where there is an excess

An alternative to surgery

Are you slender? Breast augmentation using silicone implants may be an option. To assess whether this surgical technique is suitable for you, we recommend a no-obligation consultation with your treating doctor.

Treatment process

Breast augmentation using the patient’s own fat is carried out using a modern vibrating liposuction technique. An appropriate amount of fat is gently removed using a liposuction cannula from an area where there is sufficient fatty tissue; this is then processed immediately – unwanted particles and impurities are centrifuged out, after which the fat is injected into the breasts. This is a minimally invasive procedure using fine cannulas, leaving no scars. Breast augmentation using the patient’s own fat takes approximately 2–2.5 hours. Breast augmentation using the patient’s own fat can be combined with certain cosmetic procedures and is suitable for women aged 18 and over.

Before the procedure

Breast augmentation using the patient’s own fat is a safe procedure that yields good results. Before the procedure, we recommend stopping any medication that reduces blood clotting for at least 14 days; smoking should be avoided for 2 days prior to the treatment.

After the procedure

Following breast augmentation using your own fat, you may experience slight swelling or bruising on your breasts; occasionally, you may experience some tenderness, which will subside within a few days. We recommend sleeping on your back for at least two weeks; special elasticated underwear is not necessary. It is also important to follow your doctor’s post-operative instructions and to avoid wearing tight, underwired bras; opt for a sportier style instead. Furthermore, do not expose your body to the cold or take hot baths. Some of the transferred fat may be reabsorbed over time (approximately 20–40 per cent); it is therefore advisable to repeat the procedure or top up the reabsorbed fat, but not before 6 months have passed.

The results are visible immediately and reach their maximum and stabilise within 3 months. The breasts feel natural and well-shaped to the touch.

For women, the breasts are the essence of femininity. Everyone has a different idea of how they should look, but many are dissatisfied with their bust. If you are someone who favours the most natural-looking result using your own tissue, breast augmentation using your own fat is the best solution that modern aesthetic medicine has to offer. No need for surgery or foreign filler materials – for more beautiful breasts!

FAQ

Frequently Asked
Questions

How much adipose tissue is required for the procedure?

For effective results, at least 600 ml of adipose tissue is required, which may not always be available in very slim women – the doctor will assess whether the procedure is suitable during a consultation.

How long will the results last?

The results are visible straight away and stabilise fully after 3 months. Some of the transferred fat (approximately 20–40 per cent) may be gradually reabsorbed; therefore, the procedure can be repeated or supplemented after 6 months at the earliest.

Is breast augmentation using your own fat safe?

Yes, it is a minimally invasive procedure that involves no foreign material, no risk of an allergic reaction and no scarring. The patient’s own adipose tissue is used, which is the most compatible with the body.

Who is this method not suitable for?

This method is not suitable for clients expecting a significant increase in breast size by several sizes – it will increase the volume by approximately one size. For a more pronounced effect, breast augmentation using silicone implants is more suitable.
